We are hiring for Sanitation/Packaging Specialist on our 1st shift. You will report to the Production/Sanitation supervisor and join a team of 235 plus team member. You will work onsite at our Food manufacturing plant is in Kent WA. You will work 5 days per week, work weeks will include weekends, with overtime as needed. Requirements

• 1+ years of experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Clean freezers (and refrigerators) by rinsing, soaping and sanitizing, following standard operating procedures.
• You will be trained on cleaning and sanitizing the equipment.
• Mix chemicals for hand wash and sanitation, correctly calculating the proper percentage of chemicals, water and other mixtures.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance of structural components such as walls, floors, HVAC units and ductwork, lights, pipes, windows and ceilings.
• Understand food safety (SQF)/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
• Ensure compliance with all safety programs and maintain hazard free work areas.
• Exercise caution to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
• Maintain regular attendance per company policy.
• Must work weekends.
• Can work overtime to meet production and sanitation deadlines.
• Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
