About The Position

Job DetailsJob Location: Ponca City, OK 74601Duties & Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize various lines of equipment, floors, and walls. Dismantle and reassemble equipment to ensure sanitization. Handle high-pressure water and air hoses during the cleaning process. Use chemicals, steam cleaners, and other equipment to facilitate cleaning. Clean product off the floor. Work in all areas of the plant including, but not limited to: grinding, blending, forming, packing production areas, and working outside picking up trash. Refill footbaths throughout the facility with chemical. Clean outside areas such as the oil loading area, behind the plant around the sediment trailer, keeping waste and butt cans outside the plant emptied. Clean mezzanine and address water leaks from the roof, grounds clean up etc. Adhere to all safety and sanitation requirements within the plant. Maintain plant cleanliness in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety standards. Other duties as assigned QualificationsQualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred Sanitation experience preferred but not required Ability to stand, reach, handle, and/or feel continuously (67-100% of the time). Ability able to walk, lift, carry, push, and/or pull frequently (34-66% of the time). Ability to able to work overhead, twist, climb ladders or stairs, balance, bend, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl occasionally (1-33% of the time). Great attendance is a must. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Walk and stand Climb Bend forward Kneel down Crawl Wear a hip/backpack vacuum Reach and grasp Push and pull objects Lift and/or move up to 60+ lbs. using team lift techniques if items are too heavy. Sometimes over shoulder. Repetitive bending and lifting of items Repetitive arm movements Hold/run high pressure hose for up to 4 hours a night while grasping a ball valve style nozzle.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Sanitation experience preferred but not required
Ability to stand, reach, handle, and/or feel continuously (67-100% of the time).
Ability able to walk, lift, carry, push, and/or pull frequently (34-66% of the time).
Ability to able to work overhead, twist, climb ladders or stairs, balance, bend, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl occasionally (1-33% of the time).
