About The Position

The Sanitation Operator at Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corp plays a crucial role in maintaining food safety and sanitation standards within the doughnut factory. This position involves following a detailed sanitation process to ensure that all equipment and areas are clean and safe for food production. The operator will also assist in packing and making doughnuts as needed, contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in a food manufacturing or similar environment doing sanitation work.
• Ability to read and perform basic math for documentation purposes.
• Dependable and able to move around in a dynamic factory environment.
• High school diploma or GED is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Complete the sanitation process steps including inspection, sweeping/flushing, washing, rinsing, sanitizing, rinse or air dry, and validating.
• Model the proper way to sanitize, clean, and store materials using approved chemicals.
• Assist with packing doughnuts and potentially making them when needed.
• Maintain a master cleaning schedule and standard operating procedure checklist to ensure food safety standards are met.
• Work with the maintenance team to align cleaning schedules with equipment maintenance.
• Clean other areas of the factory including bathrooms, breakrooms, and offices.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked, organized, and on-hand.
