About The Position

The Sanitation Operator is responsible for breaking down equipment, cleaning, sanitizing work areas, and setting up equipment for inspection and start-up, while adhering to Core Safety, food safety policies, and company policies. The role includes managing the dry pickup area and visually checking for cleanliness. The operator must be willing and able to break down and set up equipment as needed, use a high-pressure hose to rinse areas and floors, and utilize various chemicals for cleaning. The position requires close collaboration with Quality Assurance and USDA, and adherence to the principles of SQF 2000. The work schedule will vary depending on production needs.

Requirements

• Must have 6 months of continuous employment in the last 18 months in relevant machine operator, warehouse, agricultural, or production experience.
• Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Must be willing and able to become certified in Tyson's Lock Out/Tag Out program.
• Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product/equipment.
• Must be willing and able to perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting for periods of 8 hours on concrete floors.
