About The Position

A night in this role When third shift kicks off, you rally the sanitation crew, map out the cleaning plan, and jump in alongside them. You move from line to line, verifying that equipment and facility areas are cleaned to standard, coaching teammates on safe chemical use, and confirming that SSOP, HACCP, and GMP expectations are met before the next day’s production. How you’ll contribute Guide and work shoulder-to-shoulder with the third‑shift sanitation team to complete daily cleaning goals. Perform hands-on sanitation across processing equipment and plant spaces. Teach and mentor team members on proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and safety protocols. Track performance and ensure strict adherence to SSOP, HACCP, and GMP requirements. Act as the primary point of contact for sanitation needs during the shift. Operate sanitation tools and machinery, including power scrubbers, foamers, and forklifts. Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly. What you bring Proven leadership and clear, effective communication. Background in sanitation within a food manufacturing setting (preferred). Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Working knowledge of sanitation methods and safety practices. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
