About The Position

The Sanitation Leader is responsible for coordinating and assisting the Manager in the Food Safety Quality (FSQ) department at Campbell Soup Company. This role involves managing sanitation processes, supervising equipment cleaners, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The position requires strong leadership skills to oversee sanitation activities, conduct audits, and address quality incidents while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

• Associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school
• Two years of related experience and/or training
• Experience in food microbiology preferred
• Six Sigma Certification
• Safe Quality Food Certification
• Strong computer skills including SAP and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

• SQF or AIB certificate preferred
• Pest control knowledge preferred
• Six Sigma training preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead FSQ department responsibilities (75%)
• Provide support for EMP and Sensory programs (25%)
• Supervise equipment cleaners and part-time personnel to meet sanitation schedules
• Conduct employee performance reviews and coach staff
• Analyze sanitation problems and initiate corrective actions
• Maintain records for master sanitation cleaning schedule
• Lead plant internal quality audits and weekly GMP inspections
• Investigate quality incidents and consumer complaints
• Communicate effectively with all departments regarding personnel and operational issues
• Ensure adherence to SQF, HACCP, CTS, Safety, and GMP standards
