  • Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return.
  • Monitor all established quality assurance standards.
  • Encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Direct and supervise all functions, duties, and activities for the Clean Team.
  • Responsible for the execution of best practices, goals, and established standards for the Clean Team.
  • Promote trust and respect among associates.
  • Communicate company, department, and job specific information to associates.
  • Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important, and appreciated.
  • Display a positive attitude.
  • Gain and maintain knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment required for maintaining store sanitation and food safety standards.
  • Monitor and control supply expenses for the Clean Team and overall store sanitation needs.
  • Maintain an awareness of inventory and orderliness conditions in Cleaning Center; note any discrepancies in inventory.
  • Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repair.
  • Resolve customer inquiries in a timely, effective, and professional manner.
  • Manage the scheduling of Clean Team associates to provide adequate department coverage.
  • Understand the store's layout and have the ability to locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify store management.
  • Notify management of customer or employee accidents.
  • Report all safety and illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud.
  • Collaborate with team members to encourage teamwork and align the goals of the organization.
  • Ensure that the Clean Team associates are current and compliant with company training standards.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws, and company guidelines.
