Position is responsible cleaning the manufacturing facility according to established standard operating procedures and within established time standards while meeting USDA requirements and following all corporate policies and procedures pertaining to Safety, Total Quality Control and Good Manufacturing Practices. ATTN Team Members: This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner. INTERNAL REQUIREMENTS AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION: Must have been in their current position 6 months, to transfer to another shift, line, or facility. Responsibilities

  • Must be willing and able to rinse equipment with high pressure hot water systems.
  • Must be willing and able to apply cleaning chemicals to equipment walls, ceilings, floors, drains with a foam or gel tank.
  • Must be willing and able to scrub equipment with cleaning chemicals by using a green pad.
  • Must be willing and able to lift parts to tear down/set up equipment or to properly store.
  • Must be willing and able to climb ladders/steps to clean overhead areas.
  • Must be willing and able to shovel meat from the floor, clean the floor using the squeegee, and wipe condensation from overhead structures with a condensation mop.
  • Must be willing and able to assure sanitation quality by adhering to SSOP and USDA polices (pre-op/checks area before the start up).
  • Must be willing and able to remember hiding spots and niche areas that exist on all equipment.
  • Must be willing and able to perform Lock Out/Tag Out.
  • Must be willing and able to spot/locate any deficiencies during pre-op inspections.
  • Must be willing and able to work with hazardous chemicals (Caustics/Acids).
  • Must be willing and able to push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Must be willing and able to stand and walk on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
  • Must be willing and able to work in cold/hot temperatures ranging 45-100 degrees.
  • Must be willing and able to perform repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Must be willing and able to reach high and low levels, frequently.
  • Must be willing and able to climb step ladders and/or stairs.
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends.
  • Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification.
  • The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
