About The Position

The Sanitation Installation Specialist is responsible for transporting and operating heavy equipment to install water and sanitation facilities. This role involves working with wastewater systems, water service lines, and performing maintenance and repairs on existing facilities. The position requires adherence to safety standards and specifications while ensuring efficient operation of equipment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or six (6) months related experience.
• An additional two (2) years of experience is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a verified driving history.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation, water and wastewater construction materials and techniques.

Nice To Haves

• Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality Class D water and wastewater operators license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports and operates heavy equipment to install water and sanitation facilities.
• Installs on-site wastewater systems in accordance with appropriate standards and specifications.
• Installs water service lines from water source to home.
• Assists in the layout of sanitation facilities.
• Assists in the transportation of heavy equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, skid steer loaders, backhoe attachments, and dump trucks.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance of assigned equipment.
• Repairs existing water and sanitation facilities as needed.
• Assists in the removal, transportation, and disposal of septage from onsite wastewater systems.
