About The Position

This full-time position is responsible for maintaining effective sanitation and upkeep of the compactor room, as well as the collection and transportation of rubbish from production and warehouse areas. The role requires frequent walking throughout the facility while moving rubbish carts, working in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrating attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Compliance with GMPs, proper sanitation, housekeeping, and safety procedures, including the use of required safety equipment and protective clothing, are essential. The individual must be able to follow verbal instructions from supervisors and leads and report any equipment or operational problems promptly.

Requirements

Must be willing to walk throughout the facility repeatedly while moving rubbish carts.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be detail oriented and be able to work independently.
Must be able to follow verbal instructions from Supervisor and/or Lead.
High School Education Level.

Nice To Haves

Previous sanitation/janitorial experience.

Timely notification to Maintenance, Supervisor and/or Lead of equipment problems.
Notify Supervisor and/or Lead of actual or potential problems.
Must be able to follow verbal instructions from Supervisor and/or Lead.
Responsible for compliance with GMP’s, proper sanitation, and housekeeping in area.
Responsible for use of required safety equipment and complying with proper safety procedures including wearing proper protective clothing, steel toe boots, and safety goggles at all times.
Other duties as assigned by Management or volunteered for.
