About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Coordinator to oversee and manage all cleaning and sanitation activities within our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas meet safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for employees and products.

Requirements

Proven experience in sanitation, cleaning management, or related role within manufacturing or food/beverage industries.
Knowledge of sanitation chemicals, cleaning techniques, and regulatory standards.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to inspect and identify sanitation deficiencies effectively.
Excellent communication and training abilities.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor sanitation procedures in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Schedule and supervise cleaning crews and external sanitation contractors.
Ensure all sanitation activities are completed according to schedule and quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections of production areas, equipment, and facilities to identify sanitation needs and ensure cleanliness.
Maintain detailed sanitation records, cleaning schedules, and compliance documentation.
Train staff on proper cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Production teams to address sanitation-related issues promptly.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and sanitation equipment.
Investigate sanitation breaches or contamination issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, EPA, and other relevant safety and environmental regulations.
