About The Position

The Sanitation position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building / warehouse according to company standards. Daily duties will be performed both individually and collectively as a team. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. How you will make contributions that matter : Sweeping, mopping, detail work (cleaning underneath and wiping racks). Handling damaged cases, cleaning supplies, gathering wrap and cardboard. Use of a scissor lift for cleaning debris out of racking. Utilizing an electrical pallet jack to navigate around the warehouse to gather garbage and recyclables. Handle warehouse spills. Extremely faced paced work environment. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Physical strength and fitness, the ability to lift 50lbs or more at a time
• Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials
• Following safety guidelines
• Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and complete assigned tasks efficiently
