About The Position

General Purpose:   This work involves standing for long periods of time, doing
rapid and repetitive work in a cold and damp environment. It may also include
lifting heavy objects.

Physical demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to
handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. Occasionally
required to sit. Frequently must squat, stoop, or kneel, reach above the head,
and reach forward. Daily uses hand strength to grasp tools, supplies and
equipment.

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
exposed to weather conditions prevalent to the time. The noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate to loud.  Often work in dusty, humid, and heated
environments; as well as cold, moist environments.

• Be able to work overtime when needed

Responsibilities

• Participate as an active team member of production in assigned area.
• Perform repetitive tasks as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with established food safety programs, including HACCP programs, SSOPs and GMPs.
• Effectively communicate with all levels of employees.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Attend monthly or annual meetings and trainings as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or lead
