About The Position

Keeps premises of offices, warehouse, Shipping/Receiving docks, and outside grounds in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties. 2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00 pm Train on 1st shift

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to lift up to 50-lbs.
Must be capable of working both indoors and out door in a variety of weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Bi-lingual in both English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Keep bailer & compactor areas clean (swept and wash) and organized at all times, keep employee walk way clean to prevent any accidents
Corrugate bailing and recycling
Throw away garbage in the compactor
Assist maintenance with minor maintenance projects such as painting and landscaping
Keeping cleanness of garbage debris from outside on biweekly basis
On snow wintertime keeping entrances free of ice or snow, applying salt to the entrances
Perform janitorial duties during main janitor’s absence
Utilize floor scrubber to keep main production isles clean of debris
Sweep all warehouse isles and clean yellow guards as time permits
Clean curtains by the garbage compactor and other areas by the entrance of production
Empty containers and collect all the garbage from the plant and where house From shipping to outside of production
Wash garbage containers as need it and on Friday at the end of the shift
Wash black or gray totes or gaylords if need it on daily basis
Follow GMP, SQF and safety policies, assist with SQF cleaning projects
