About The Position

This is for the Sanitation Position. The Sanitation Member is responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the bakery and its manufacturing equipment. It is important that a level of cleanliness, food safety, and EHS Compliance is maintained at all times.

Requirements

• Proper mixture and handling of chemicals training
• Sanitation or Janitorial Experience
• Understand chemical symbols and warning labels
• Time management
• Written Communication Skills
• Oral Communication Skills (English or Spanish)
• Organization

Nice To Haves

• Experience within a GMP or Food Safety Compliant Facility
• Experience or knowledge of HACCP
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Collect, gather, and organize equipment and utensils from the previous work day and stage them for cleaning
• Utilize sanitation equipment to clean racks, boards, crates, and utensils
• Utilize various chemicals and sanitizers to perform cleaning tasks on walls, surfaces, equipment, and machinery.
• Fill, mix, and maintain chemical formulas to ensure chemicals remain effective and controlled at safe levels.
• Sweep and mop floor space around the facility
• Complete documentation of finished tasks
• Provide timely feedback on issues or concerns found during sanitation procedures
• Partner with team members to meet and exceed sanitation expectations
