About The Position
The position involves performing cleaning and sanitizing procedures on product flow systems between production cycles. The role requires the use of hand tools to change process flow piping and prepare sanitation cycles, as well as manually controlling valves and piping to prepare the CIP cycle. Responsibilities include recording sanitation activities, operating HMI to perform sanitation sequences, and using mathematical operations to track and understand chemical concentrations. The position also involves troubleshooting, adjusting, calibrating, monitoring, and inspecting CIP equipment for issues, coordinating work activities with associates, and exchanging information to improve efficiency and safety. Additionally, the role requires obtaining and replacing sanitation chemicals, using pressured water hoses and caustic/acid chemicals for cleaning, acknowledging and responding to CIP alarms, and operating power floor scrubbers, forklifts, and scissor lifts. Inspecting and cleaning processing, packaging, and casing equipment, as well as performing chemical tests to ensure quality and FDA standards, are also key responsibilities.
