About The Position

This position is open until filled, with final certificates issued after March 28, 2025. Certificates will be issued every 15 days until the positions are filled. Requirements

• Actively pursuing a full 4-year course of study that meets the requirements for a bachelor's degree.
• Completed at least 30 semester hours in a science related to environmental health.
• Four years of experience in inspectional, investigational, or technical support work related to environmental health principles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices in environmental health services.

Nice To Haves

• One full year of graduate-level education related to environmental health.
• Superior academic achievement based on class standing or grade-point average.
• Completion of a bachelor's degree in a field related to environmental health.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine environmental health activities across various programs and operations.
• Administer, monitor, plan, and evaluate environmental health services programs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations related to food safety, safe drinking water, children's environmental health, vector control, hazardous materials, and solid waste.
