About The Position
As a Sandwich Artist at Subway, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional guest experience while preparing and serving high-quality food. Your primary focus will be on four key areas: providing excellent service to guests, preparing and serving delicious food, maintaining cleanliness and beauty in the restaurant, and being a supportive team player. You will engage with guests to recommend meal options and fulfill their orders from start to finish, ensuring that each interaction is positive and informative. Upholding food safety standards is essential as you prepare and serve fresh food daily, and you will work collaboratively with your teammates to keep all areas of the restaurant clean and inviting for guests. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include operating the computerized Point of Sale system and cash register, which requires the ability to understand and implement both written and verbal instructions. This position involves physical activity, including bending, standing, and walking throughout your entire workday. You will need to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally. Training will be provided to help you understand your roles and responsibilities, ensuring you are well-prepared to succeed in this position. Subway offers both full-time and part-time shifts, with varying schedules that may include day, evening, and weekend shifts, depending on the location.
