About The Position

This position is responsible for helping the Sanding Supervisor oversee the team, while tracking production progress, ensuring quality standards and production goals are met, while maintaining the workflow.

Requirements

Strong leadership capability and experience
Strong manufacturing knowledge
Ability to use various sanding tools and equipment
Knowledge of different wood composite materials and their characteristics
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of manufacturing or sanding experience required

Responsibilities

Sand and finish wood composite baseball bats to a high-quality standard.
Review output of other team members to ensure quality standards are met.
Provide recommendations when needed to improve manufacturing processes.
Operate and maintain equipment.
Ensures compliance with quality, environmental and safety standards.
Train and mentor team members on proper techniques and safety procedures.
Monitors machinery, processes and work layouts.
May conduct safety and training programs for the production line.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues quickly and effectively.
Apply coatings and finishes to enhance the performance and durability of the bat
Assist record production data, quality metrics, and provide feedback to management.
Maintains and coaches standard work practices across all processes
