Marucci Sports is looking for a Sanding and Finishing Operator who will be responsible for sanding wooden baseball bats to the quality specifications laid out by the company.

Requirements

Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

Wood working experience is preferred but not required.
Experience using hand lathes is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Sanding wooden baseball bats by hand.
Implementing quality control methods to meet the high standards set by the company.
Technique to sand wooden baseball bats by hand.
Set-up and maintain work areas and maintain equipment in accordance to safety procedures.
Maintain clean work areas, tool repair, and equipment inventory.
Inspect sand jobs and materials, adjusting practices to ensure quality work
