About The Position

Position Summary: Position is responsible for operating flutter sander to ensure a smooth finish on product.
Position Details: Uses production schedule to learn which parts need to be run each day Reads route card to understand where the sanding needs to be completed on a particular part Selects correct size and grit of flutter sand paper for disk Moves completed part to the next step in the production process Observes plant safety rules Keeps work area clean and is quality conscious in performing duties Performs other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to walk, stand, climb, stoop, twist, push, pull and bend over the course of 8 hours
• Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance

Nice To Haves

• Previous sanding experience preferred
