About The Position

The Sandblaster I position involves blasting a variety of products following established procedures. The role includes preparation and masking for blasting and painting, assisting the painter in handling and preparation for painting, and maintaining equipment and the work area in a clean, safe, and operational condition. Additionally, the Sandblaster I is responsible for preparing and following required paperwork, such as paint logs and purchase orders.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• 1 year of field experience or related experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; simple mechanical equipment.
• Ability to focus on specific jobs, follow instructions.
• Team player.
• Ability to stand, walk, carry, bend, and lift 50 lbs. for eight hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Blast variety of products following procedures.
• Preparation/masking for blasting and painting.
• Assist Painter in handling and preparation for painting.
• Maintain equipment and area in good, clean, safe and operational condition.
• Prepare and follow required paperwork (i.e., paint logs, PO's).
