There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
The City of Sand Springs is actively recruiting for police officer candidates. All applicants are required to undergo a Physical Agility Test (PAT) regardless of their current military or peace/police officer status. Candidates must register and apply under the job listings tab to be considered for future testing opportunities. Upon receiving an invitation to test, applicants will be sent a course map and are advised to focus on cardio to prepare for the test. Following the PAT, candidates will receive a Background Investigation Questionnaire (BIQ) to complete by a designated date and time. The BIQ will require various personal documents for verification. After the BIQ review, candidates will be scheduled for an Oral Board, which may be limited to the top agility performers. The Police Officer Screening and Selection Examination (POSSE) is required after all minimum requirements have been verified. Candidates not already CLEET-certified must pass the POSSE before an official offer of employment is made, with the fee reimbursed if an offer is extended.
