About The Position

The Director, Patient Services, HUB & Field Access Operations at BridgeBio is responsible for leading the operations of patient support programs for the company's portfolio of commercialized assets. This role involves engaging with various stakeholders, managing end-to-end operations for patient services, and executing new product launch activities. The director will collaborate with internal teams to align on patient support goals and brand strategies, ensuring compliance with medical, legal, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of Biotech/Pharma experience.
  • Experience in Cardiology, Pediatric, Oncology, and Rare Disease preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with patient support programs, including copay and cost-sharing programs.
  • Understanding of the specialty market and reimbursement/access challenges.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to develop strategies for patient access.
  • Experience managing patient and provider support hub or services.
  • Superior communication (oral and written) and teamwork skills.
  • Training experience is a plus.
  • Extremely detail-oriented to create and manage program documents.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in managing patient support programs for medical and pharmacy benefit products.
  • Familiarity with OIG/CMS/legal guidelines for patient support programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and lead in the development of patient support programs under the branding of ForgingBridges, resulting in a positive customer experience.
  • Support all new product and program launch implementation activities.
  • Implement new access initiatives/programs.
  • Participate in strategic planning for upcoming launches and market access team meetings.
  • Partner with Market Access Marketing/Brand Marketing to identify promotional collateral for the patient community.
  • Ensure programs and materials comply with Medical, Legal & Regulatory (MLR) direction.
  • Manage day-to-day operations for fully launched patient support programs.
  • Oversee contracts and partnerships with patient support program vendors.
  • Create and coordinate smooth communications handoff process between hub, PAL/FRM teams.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure vendor goals are met.
  • Manage vendor and internal PAL/FRM business rules/operations procedure documents.
  • Ensure program compliance through regular auditing of cases/phone calls.
  • Coordinate weekly status calls and follow-ups with stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison with field teams, marketing, and sales managers, resolving escalation issues.
  • Train internal stakeholders on patient support program processes.
  • Review and analyze data reporting from vendors to identify issues and trends.
  • Stay connected with BridgeBio Commercial Analytics and Commercial IT on CRM and reports.
  • Serve as a backup to the Head of Patient Services for decision-making on support programs.
  • Provide regular updates and analysis of patient programs to the Head of Patient Services.
  • Attend patient meetings and represent BridgeBio at industry conferences.
  • Travel to sales meetings and medical offices as necessary.
