About The Position

The Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization's research, development, and product implementation efforts for our SA operations. Underground Utilities Water & Wastewater experience preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversees a team of superintendents and analysts to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications. Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints. Duties/Responsibilities: Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency. Site visits Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly. Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project. Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates. Conducts risk assessments: reports identified risks to management provides recommendations for mitigation of risk including termination of the project if appropriate. Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project. Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors. Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices. Monitor and review daily reporting of job progress and challenges and report to the Project Management Team. Willing to promote, execute and adhere to SSP's safety program. Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Knowledgeable in schedule preparation meetings, submittals, traffic control plans, SWPPP, RFI Prep, scheduled updates, and close out paperwork.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Primavera, or related software.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in related field (Construction Management, Construction Engineering Management, Business Administration, or Science).
  • 4-10 years of experience managing construction/business management.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.
