Job Purpose The Depot Site Manager supports the Air Force C-12, Navy C-12, T-1A, and Navy C-26 programs. The Depot site manager must have at least 10 years of aircraft maintenance management experience with at least 5 years on King Air/1900 Airliner series aircraft, including managing complex aircraft condition inspections, heavy maintenance, and modifications. Duties and Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of the Depot Site Manager which can be performed without direct supervision include: Communicates with PMO/PMA Program Managers and Customers. Manage/Supervise a Maintenance Manager, QA Chief, Supply Supervisor, and Manager of flight operations. Manages and tracks multiple schedules and spreadsheets. Manage and distribute multiple status reports. Cost/Labor monitoring utilizing cost roll-up reports and UltiPro timekeeping Manage sub-contractors and OEMs, ensuring P.O.s are placed, estimated delivery dates are current, and tracking to receipt Field Support – Troubleshooting, providing drawings, part numbers, and information as required utilizing the talent at the depot facility. Write statements of work based on a request for a quote from Government PMO & PMA Human resources liaison, no HR on site. Arrange travel, and assist with expense reporting Staffing – To include hiring/firing/discipline and determining requirements Communication – Staff meetings, all-hands meetings, production meetings, emails, memos, etc. FAA Repair station duties as required · Responsible for personnel, operational support, training, supply systems, and support services necessary for specific site contracts. Provides for sufficient and viable contract performance through effective leadership of the site, including compliance with quality and safety/environmental standards. Meets or exceeds all performance requirements. Effectively manages employee issues that may arise. Communicates new requirements, concerns, and issues to the PM for resolution. Provides for the welfare of the personnel and the enhancement of the contract, including optimizing the balance between resources of manpower, equipment, time, and materials across multiple locations supporting the contract. Responsible for keeping the Company, Corporate Management, and Customer Government personnel apprised of the current status of operations and maintenance. Ability to communicate knowledgeably and effectively at senior management levels. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a large and diverse workforce. Skilled in operations, logistics, and resource management. Ability to respond rapidly and sufficiently to changing requirements, unexpected contingencies, and other challenging situations. Ability to manage available resources in time-sensitive situations. Key Performance Indicators Amongst other basis, the performance KPI shall be linked to the Capabilities Program Manager’s achievement of obligations and company requirements/objectives, that cover amongst others the following areas: Successful programs/projects delivery in terms of scope, schedule, cost, quality, etc. Additional KPIs shall be developed by the Capabilities Program Manager, Senior Lead Engineer, and/or PMO management, subject to the requirements of the PMO and the business as a whole.
