About The Position

Responsibilities  Inspect incoming containers to verify accurate label information, lot numbers and associated paperwork Sample incoming materials by physically removing representative samples from a selected number of containers used for laboratory testing Detects abnormal appearance, contamination  Uses various sampling tools such as scoops, sample thieves, pipettes, etc Performs major and minor cleaning of the sampling room and fume hoods, maintains sample room inventory Prepares sample labels and documents sampling transactions, manually and using an electronic inventory system Follows appropriate SOPs, laboratory guidelines and safety requirements, including proper use of PPE Maintain accurate and legible records Lift and move heavy equipment, parts and containers manually or using pallet jacks  Perform basic testing on packaging materials, such as Visual Inspections and physical measurements Maintain accurate and legible notebooks Performs other related duties as assigned to meet departmental and company objectives Experience / Education  High School Diploma / GED Previous experience in a cGMP environment preferred
