About The Position

The Samples LTO is responsible for safely and efficiently picking up and delivering necessary products to designated locations.

Requirements

• Reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, walking, and squatting throughout shift.
• Ability to work around heavy industrial equipment and lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous lift truck experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge and data entry skills.
• Maintain lift truck certification.
• Overtime required on occasion.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Doff (push) the material.
• Knowledge of product SKUs.
• Make production tickets using CAMS.
• Drive any kind of lift trucks/hysters.
• Perform basic arithmetic.
• Keep the supervisor informed of all problems and issues of concern.
• Work safely with complete adherence to all facility safety procedures such as PPE, wearing safety seat belt, and maintaining three points of contacts when getting in and out of the lift truck.
• Properly maintain the lift trucks battery.
• Set the material in the correct locations.
• Prioritize material moving needs.
• Place the rolls in the trailers and maintain the roll records.
• Work with Shipping when required.
• Responsible for housekeeping such as emptying trash cans, putting paper waste in cardboard trailers, putting water bottles etc.
