Sample Prep Associate
About The Position
The Sample Prep Associate is responsible for preparing samples for individual testing and maintaining machinery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Properly dries wet samples, stamps/cuts each sample to specifications. Correctly weighs each sample and determines if it can be analyzed. Catalogues all test samples. Works efficiently and effectively to ensure all samples are prepped for analysis. Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment as needed. Works with Team Lead to ensure optimum workflow. Assists and supports other departments areas as needed. Maintains a safe and orderly work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two (2) years of related job experience
- Ability to effectively balance multiple tasks
- Effective problem solving
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical vocational training or equivalent military training.
