Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, with lab and GLP experience preferred
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming histology materials and purchased products
• Coordinate block, slide, tissue and necropsy set up shipments, including courier deliveries
• Prepare blocks, slides and tissues for onsite archive
• Unpack and examine histology samples/materials received, verify against packing slips, complete inventories/logs as necessary and place in established locations
• Maintain Histology chemical/reagent/test article receipt logs
• Label Histology supplies and maintain inventories
• Package materials and label boxes as required
• Maintain stock reagents, chemicals and materials
• Manage hazardous waste and central accumulation area
• Follow all company safety requirements
• Enter data into databases
• Follow SOPs and other applicable laboratory or company procedures
• Maintain confidential information
