About The Position
Parexel is seeking a Sample Management Specialist to join our team, focusing on the centralized management processes essential for clinical trials. This remote position is entirely operational and computer-based, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to critical aspects of clinical research. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting sample management by ensuring that study management plans are accurate and comprehensive. You will oversee the sample chain of custody, perform quality control checks, and conduct sample reconciliation to maintain the integrity of the specimens throughout the study lifecycle. As a Sample Management Specialist, you will collaborate closely with early phase clinical specialists and scientists, ensuring that all specimen activities comply with regulatory standards and study protocols. Your responsibilities will include preparing study manifest templates, assisting with specimen-related documentation, and tracking and reconciling specimens to ensure that all samples are accounted for. Additionally, you will assist with study closeout activities and the final disposition of specimens, ensuring that all processes are completed efficiently and accurately. This position requires a proactive approach, as you will need to manage complex projects under accelerated timelines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. You will be expected to partner effectively with both internal and external teams to achieve desired results, making strong communication and collaboration skills essential for success in this role.
