Sample Maker/Frame Builder
About The Position
Position is responsible for building high-end furniture samples from a detail, drawing, or picture. Builds high-end furniture from a detail, drawing, or picture, etc. Works with designer and detailer to make any necessary changes in sample case Makes patterns or fixtures for parts as necessary Observes plant safety rules Keeps work area clean and is quality conscious in performing duties Performs other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous sample building experience preferred
- Must have knowledge of all woodworking machines necessary for any project
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be able to walk, stand, climb, stoop, twist, push, pull and bend over the course of 9 hours
- Must be able to work in a noisy environment
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds over an 8 hour period.
