  • Log-in samples for inspection and submitted samples.
  • Accumulate all samples designated for retention.
  • Ensure all received samples are properly labeled and tagged with current information.
  • Enter all samples received into the Laboratory Information System (LIMS).
  • Pick-up and drop off samples at various locations as required.
  • Report to work punctually and adhere to all regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Prepare samples for shipping according to IATA procedures.
  • Generate disposal lists for the Retain Department as needed.
  • Work assigned schedule, potentially accommodating college courses.
  • Utilize respiratory equipment when handling samples.
  • Maintain open communication with team members and supervisors.
  • Train on and perform basic testing as assigned.
  • Maintain all paper and system records as required.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulations.
  • Basic mathematical skills for data interpretation.
  • Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions.
  • Currently enrolled in a STEM-related program is preferred but not required.
  • Above average people skills.
  • Flexible scheduling around college courses.
