About The Position

MillerKnoll Summer Internship Program is a paid opportunity that allows you to gain real-world experience and cultivate your professional skills. Besides the work you’ll do within your field of study, you'll participate in one-on-one meetings with mentors, a summer-long project, learning sessions with senior leaders, and much more. POSITION PROFILE This position is an internship in the HOLLY HUNT showroom. Ideally this internship will last for 6-9 months. Candidates will gain an understanding of the “to the trade” design industry.

Requirements

• Ideal candidates will be working toward a Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field or have equivalent work experience.
• Ability to multitask
• Some light lifting (20lbs – 30lbs max)
• Computer skills – basic knowledge preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Ideal candidates will have some experience working in a retail or showroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Pulling memos for clients in the showroom and for clients who call to request mail outs
• Managing inventory for all lines | Re-ordering memos and brochures for all lines
• Receive inventory
• Assist with showroom related events
• Assist outside sales reps on road program and inside sales reps with in-showroom appointments
• Assist with merchandising textile, wallcovering and leather displays in the showroom
• Daily showroom duties: tidying textile floor area, filing memos, finish samples and tear sheets
