About The Position

Part-time & On-call Physician Assistant and APRN opportunities available in our Same Day Pediatrics Clinic. Same Day Pediatrics Hours: Monday – Friday 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.* Saturday and Sunday – 12:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.* Holidays - 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.* PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT Performs medical services to patients under the supervision and direction of a licensed physician who is responsible for the performance of the physician assistant. Performs related administrative and non-medical patient care services as directed by supervising physician. ADVANCED PRACTICE RN Provides medical services to patients in an ambulatory or a clinic setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree and graduate of an AMA approved Physician's Assistant program required.
• Current Certification by the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and current PA licensed to practice in the State of Nebraska required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Master's Degree in nursing with previous clinical experience in a health care setting required.
• Licensed as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Nebraska required.
• ANCC certification (or eligibility to take exam) as a Psychiatric mental health Nurse Practitioner required.
• Experience using an electronic medical record required.
• CPR certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of three years of experience in a primary care/ambulatory care/urgent care preferred.
• For the Same Day Pediatrics Clinic, minimum of three years of APRN experience in an ambulatory and/or urgent care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.

• Provide medical services to patients in an ambulatory or clinic setting.
