About The Position

Part-time & On-call Physician Assistant and APRN opportunities available in our Same Day Pediatrics Clinic. The clinic operates Monday - Friday from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., and on Holidays from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. The Physician Assistant performs medical services to patients under the supervision and direction of a licensed physician, and also performs related administrative and non-medical patient care services as directed by the supervising physician. The Advanced Practice RN provides medical services to patients in an ambulatory or clinic setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree and graduate of an AMA approved Physician's Assistant program required.
  • Current Certification by the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and current PA licensed to practice in the State of Nebraska required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Master's Degree in nursing with previous clinical experience in a health care setting required.
  • Licensed as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Nebraska required.
  • For Psychiatry Clinic assignment: ANCC certification (or eligibility to take exam) as a Psychiatric mental health Nurse Practitioner required.
  • Experience using an electronic medical record required.
  • CPR certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a primary care/ambulatory care/urgent care preferred.
  • For the Same Day Pediatrics Clinic, minimum of three years of APRN experience in an ambulatory and/or urgent care preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform medical services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
  • Perform related administrative and non-medical patient care services as directed by the supervising physician.
  • Provide medical services to patients in an ambulatory or clinic setting.
