Requirements

• Obtain a certified ServSafe Food Handler or related food safety certification within 45 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• 3 years of hands-on experience in professional cooking and food preparation, including recipe execution, ingredient prepping, and maintaining kitchen efficiency
• Proven ability to perform high-volume cooking in fast-paced environments
• Hands-on experience in catering, with a strong understanding of food preparation and event logistics
• Demonstrated success collaborating within team-based settings while maintaining effective communication
• Strong initiative and motivation, with a track record of working independently and efficiently without supervision
• Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service that reflects the warm and welcoming standards of Table 29
• Embrace and embody the restaurant’s vision and values to create meaningful guest experiences
• Bring a positive, energetic presence that uplifts the team and enhances the atmosphere
• Prepare and cook meals using standard recipes and techniques like baking, chopping, and grilling; operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• Ensure ingredients are prepped, inventory is rotated, and food safety standards are met through proper temperature checks, labeling, and sanitation practices
