We look forward to learning more about you and how you can be a part of the Schweitzer difference! Position Summary: Pizza and Sandwich maker in Sam’s Alley. Positive, outgoing, and energetic individuals who are willing to learn, practice and exemplify the Schweitzer culture of hospitality and teamwork while working in a fun, fast paced environment. Applicant should be 16 years or older.
Requirements
- Applicant should be 16 years or older.
- Idaho Food Safety Certification (training provided)
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Will lift up to 25lbs frequently, up to 50lbs occasionally.
- Minimum education required- English reading and writing
- Nonslip shoes required.
Nice To Haves
- Cooking Skills/Basic kitchen skills preferred
- computer and point of sale experience preferred
- 3 months kitchen experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble pizzas and sandwiches using kitchen equipment, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain proper food handling practices, including storage, rotation, and presentation, in compliance with health codes and kitchen procedures.
- Operate as a cashier when needed, handling basic monetary transactions and providing friendly, efficient service to guests.
- Collaborate closely with the Kitchen Supervisor and team members to uphold Schweitzer’s culture of hospitality, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
- Wash dishes
- Other duties as assigned
