About The Position
The Salvagnini S4P4 Operator position is a full-time role focused on the operation of advanced panel bending equipment, specifically the Salvagnini MV/S4/P4 production system. This hybrid position encompasses various disciplines including shipping, receiving, material handling, and steel warehousing, with a primary emphasis on the setup and operation of the automated bending equipment. Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate technical proficiency in multiple fabrication processes and possess a deep understanding of Epicor ERP systems as they relate to production, shipping, and receiving. Operators will work in a small team environment that values collaboration, communication, and coordination to maximize production efficiency. The role requires adherence to safety policies and quality standards, including ISO and OSHA regulations. Operators must maintain a solid performance level, support organizational goals, and demonstrate high standards of personal conduct. The position involves operating various systems, including material warehouses, punching systems, and bending systems, while ensuring that all operations are performed safely and accurately. Operators will also be responsible for troubleshooting system issues, conducting inspections, and maintaining a clean work environment. Training for this position occurs Monday through Thursday from 6:15 AM to 3:15 PM and Friday from 6:15 AM to 12:15 PM, with regular hours after training being Monday through Thursday from 3:45 PM to 2:15 AM. The role demands flexibility in daily responsibilities and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
