About The Position

This is a full-time position that will work primarily in the warehouse and Outlet at our Headquarters location in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Requirements for this role include the ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions, while two years of full-time employment in a related field, including one year in a training role, is preferred. The Salvage Trainer will be responsible for training the Outlet team members on salvage criteria and support the gauntlet sort to divert material from the landfill. This position will also assist with the study and implementation of new sustainability initiatives that impact the gauntlet sort. The Salvage Trainer will work closely with the Outlet Store Manager and Salvage Manager to ensure all necessary compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines, as well as supporting the study and implementation of new sustainability initiatives. Tailoring training and education to different scenarios and learning styles will be a crucial aspect of this role to ensure the partnership between the Salvage Trainer and the Outlet Team remains strong and positive. Requirements

  • Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • The Salvage Trainer will be scheduled for 40 hours per week, typically between 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
