We are seeking a new member to add to our growing team. Are you ready to be a part of something amazing? We are seeking a Salsify Specialist to manage and optimize the Salsify platform, ensuring that product information is accurately represented across Maxwood’s e-commerce site, third-party retail platforms, and marketplaces such as Amazon and Wayfair. This role is essential for ensuring seamless data flow between our internal systems and digital touchpoints, enhancing the customer experience, and supporting marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Salsify platform to ensure timely and accurate distribution of product data across digital channels, including Maxwood’s e-commerce site and third-party marketplaces.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e-commerce, IT, marketing, product) to ensure smooth integrations between Salsify and other enterprise systems like ERP, CMS, and DAM.
  • Oversee product data management, including ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of product information for all digital channels.
  • Ensure seamless content syndication to third-party platforms and retailers, maintaining Maxwood’s brand standards for product presentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues related to content syndication, integrations, and product information flow.
  • Monitor and track key data metrics, including data quality, product content performance, and integration effectiveness, providing insights to improve operations.
  • Develop and provide training on Salsify best practices and product data management processes for internal teams.
  • Maintain documentation related to data governance, workflows, and process improvements to ensure consistent operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven experience with Salsify or other Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital content management, and product data integration processes.
  • Experience managing product data across multiple retail and e-commerce channels, including marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Wayfair).
  • Familiarity with integrations between PIM, ERP, DAM, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data issues effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with product data analysis tools.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, XML, or other data formats is a plus.
