Blo is the industry leader in blow dry bars, with 100+ locations across North America. We specialize in blowouts, special occasion hair, braiding, makeup, extensions, and bridal—no cuts, no color. Our bars are fast-paced, guest-focused, and built on teamwork, professionalism, and great energy. We invest in training and development and are looking for a leader who believes attitude, consistency, and team culture matter just as much as talent. This is a working Salon Manager / Lead Stylist role. You will be actively styling and leading on the floor, especially during busy shifts, while managing the team’s energy, standards, and guest experience. You are the on-site leader during your shifts, trusted to make real-time decisions that keep the bar running smoothly for both guests and the team. A licensed cosmetologist with strong, confident styling skills Experienced in blowouts, special occasion styling, makeup services, and hair extensions A positive, team-first leader who leads by example Calm, professional, and solution-oriented under pressure Comfortable giving direction, coaching teammates, and maintaining standards Reliable, emotionally mature, and consistent Flexible and willing to work peak business times (especially Fridays & Saturdays)

Requirements

An active state cosmetology license
Salon experience with hands-on makeup and extension services
Comfort working across multiple service types (hair + beauty)
Some leadership, mentoring, or team-lead experience
Availability to work peak hours, including Fridays and Saturdays
A genuine passion for beauty, people, and teamwork
Strong attitude, reliability, and respect for team culture are required-technical skill without the right mindset will not be a fit.

Responsibilities

Actively style guests, including hair, makeup, and extension services
Lead the floor and keep services running smoothly and on time
Manage the floor and booking flow in real time, including adjusting appointments, making staffing cuts when appropriate, and ensuring proper coverage throughout each shift
Manage and support a team of stylists and makeup artists
Help with scheduling, light inventory oversight, and daily operations
Set the tone for professionalism, teamwork, and guest experience
Assist with onboarding and coaching new team members
Handle guest concerns with confidence and care
Maintain a clean, polished, and welcoming bar environment
Participate in Blo training and ongoing skill development
