About The Position
The Salon Manager is responsible for the functional management of the salon, ensuring that the operations align with the overall direction of the Division as set by the Spa & Salon Director and Store Manager. This position is exempt and plays a crucial role in the success of Belk's rapidly growing Salon and Spa Division, particularly in managing one of the company's flagship Aveda Lifestyle Salons. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a customer service orientation, and the ability to motivate and supervise salon staff to achieve departmental goals. In this role, the Salon Manager will oversee various aspects of salon operations, including people development and management, staff recruitment, sales and profit functions, and expense planning and management. The position requires a proactive approach to leadership, ensuring that the salon team is well-trained, engaged, and focused on delivering exceptional service to clients. The Salon Manager will also be responsible for driving sales initiatives and managing the salon's financial performance, ensuring that it meets or exceeds established targets.
