About The Position

Midwest Clearance Center is a family-run furniture retailer in St. Peters, and we’re looking to add a full-time salesperson to our small, close-knit team. Because we’re a small business, this role is more hands-on and versatile than many big-box retail jobs — and that’s part of what makes it rewarding. What the job looks like Work directly with customers in a low-pressure, consultative sales environment Provide quotes, follow up on estimates, and manage special-order invoices Use a computerized POS system (basic Windows familiarity required) Help set up and refresh showroom displays Staff has real input on roughly one-third of the displays Assist with physical tasks when needed About once a week, unloading mattresses or sofas Helping customers move purchases to pickup trucks Ability to lift up to ~75 lbs (with help) is required Schedule & pay Full-time (40 hours/week) Expect to work approximately 7 weekend days per month Hourly base pay + commission (no draw, commission floor in place) Additional spiffs, bonuses, and team incentives $55,000+ is very achievable in the first year Benefits Partially employer-subsidized health insurance One week of paid vacation after one year Employee furniture discounts Stable schedule in a family-run, low-drama workplace What we’re looking for Friendly, reliable, and comfortable talking with customers Willingness to pitch in — this is a team environment Background check required Retail or sales experience is a plus, but not required We’re happy to train the right person How to apply Please submit a resume via this posting.
