The Salesperson is responsible for engaging with customers to understand their needs and preferences, presenting vehicle options, and guiding them through the buying process. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, meeting sales targets, and ensuring a positive buying experience from start to finish. Essential Functions: Greet and assist customers who visit the dealership, providing a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements and preferences. Present and demonstrate vehicles, highlighting features, benefits, and pricing to match customer needs. Offer test drives to all prospects. Follow dealership procedures to obtain proper identification from customers prior to test drive. Guide customers through the entire sales process, including vehicle selection, financing options, and closing the sale. Prepare and present sales proposals, including detailed quotes and trade-in evaluations. Negotiate terms and finalize agreements in alignment with dealership policies and customer satisfaction. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the dealership’s vehicle inventory, including specifications, features, and benefits. Stay informed about the latest industry trends, new model releases, and competitive products. Provide accurate information and advice to customers on vehicle features, pricing, and financing options. Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs or issues. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals and targets. Track and report on sales performance, including leads, sales conversions, and customer feedback .Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and performance. Process sales paperwork, including contracts, vehicle registrations, and financing applications. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the dealership’s CRM system. Coordinate with the finance department to ensure smooth processing of transactions and approvals. Represent the dealership in a positive and professional manner at all times. Participate in dealership events, promotions, and community activities to promote the dealership and its offerings. Adhere to dealership policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities. Maintain satisfactory attendance. Performs other related duties as assigned.
