Requirements

  • Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
  • Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
  • Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals

  • Must have a valid driver's license and be fleet safety certified
  • Full valid driver’s license - You have your full driver’s license, maintain a clean driving record and have strong driving and navigation ability
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Attention to detail – ability pay close attention to detail, read invoices, understand instructions and correctly pick parts.
  • You are passionate about customer service – It is in your nature to continuously provide exceptional customer service and you’re driven to build long-lasting relationships with customers, peers, management, etc.
  • You are a team player – You are dedicated to contributing to a collaborative team with a positive and friendly attitude and contribute to a safe work environment
  • You are interested in the automotive industry – and are ready to learn about auto parts and POS
  • You are reliable – You are a self-starter who is dependable in completing tasks and is responsible with store vehicles and equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Fleet safety certification preferred
  • Automotive parts experience is preferred
  • Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
  • Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
  • Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
  • Maintain store product and operational standards
  • Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
  • Pick and stage parts for customer orders
  • Pick up returns and cores
  • Drop off weekly / monthly sales flyer
  • Daily collection of credit accounts
  • Safely delivering auto parts to our valued commercial CARQUEST customers
  • Picking and staging parts for customer orders
