About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical & Solution Architect to support long-term public sector initiatives, with a strong preference for federal Salesforce implementations. This role will provide architectural leadership across Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant designs aligned with government standards. The architect will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional leads, developers, and program leadership to deliver high-quality Salesforce platforms over a multi-year engagement.

Requirements

Extensive experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect and/or Solution Architect
Strong hands-on expertise with Salesforce core clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud; others a plus)
Proven experience delivering Salesforce solutions in public sector environments
Federal project experience strongly preferred
Deep understanding of Salesforce security model, data architecture, integrations (REST/SOAP, middleware), and deployment strategies
Experience designing solutions in complex, regulated environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to present architecture and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice To Haves

Salesforce certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, or CTA path certifications preferred)
Experience with government compliance frameworks and security standards
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models in public sector programs

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end solution architecture for Salesforce implementations in public sector environments
Translate complex business and mission requirements into scalable Salesforce technical designs
Define system architecture, integration patterns, data models, and security frameworks
Ensure compliance with federal and public sector standards (security, governance, accessibility, and auditability)
Guide development teams on Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and platform capabilities
Review and approve technical designs, customizations, and integrations
Support solution planning, roadmap development, and release strategy
Collaborate with functional architects, product owners, and program leadership
Provide technical leadership during sprint development, testing, and deployments
Participate in client workshops, architecture reviews, and executive-level discussions
