About The Position

We are hiring a Salesforce Technical Architect to own the technical design and architecture of our Salesforce org, with a major focus on Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Billing, plus ownership of native and custom integrations connected to Salesforce. You will be the technical leader responsible for ensuring the platform is scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned to business needs, while still being comfortable rolling up your sleeves to design, debug, and build solutions alongside our Salesforce Admins. This role partners closely with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Accounting, Finance, and Engineering to support quote-to-cash workflows and the systems that connect to Salesforce. You will set standards for architecture, integration patterns, and release discipline, and lead resolution of complex cross-system issues when they arise.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in the Salesforce ecosystem in senior Admin, Developer, Technical Lead, or Architect roles supporting production environments.
  • Proven ownership of Salesforce CPQ design and configuration in scaling organizations (products, pricing, approvals, quoting, and downstream impacts).
  • Hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, and triggers, plus strong Salesforce testing and change/release management practices.
  • Strong integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, secure authentication patterns, and middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to debug complex, cross-system issues (data mismatches, timing/race conditions, retries/idempotency, auth failures, rate limits).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security and data access patterns (profiles/permission sets, sharing model, role hierarchy) and their impact on automation and integrations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical constraints into business outcomes and align cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Required certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Billing / Revenue Cloud experience strongly preferred.
  • Preferred: Platform Developer I, Advanced Administrator, and architect-track certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Salesforce architecture (data model, security/sharing, automation strategy, environments/SDLC, and integration patterns) as the org scales.
  • Serve as the technical owner for Salesforce CPQ and Billing, partnering with stakeholders across the quote-to-cash process to translate pricing and packaging requirements into scalable configuration.
  • Design and optimize CPQ capabilities including product/configuration strategy, pricing rules, approvals, quote templates, and performance tuning.
  • Drive CPQ and Billing reliability through disciplined configuration management, documentation standards, testing rigor, and release governance.
  • Design and maintain Billing automation to ensure accurate invoicing, renewals/amendments, credits, and subscription/order integrity, with clear reporting visibility from order through invoice.
  • Partner with Accounting and Finance to ensure data integrity and reconciliation between Salesforce Billing, Sage Intacct, and payment processing systems.
  • Own end-to-end integrations (native and custom) using REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and middleware platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve complex cross-system failures (data mismatches, timing/race conditions, auth failures, rate limits) and improve monitoring and observability.
  • Provide hands-on expertise in Apex, LWC, triggers, and Salesforce development best practices, including change management. Stay current on Salesforce releases and recommend improvements to performance, security, and user experience.

  • Health, dental, vision, life & disability insurance
  • Paid vacation on your birthday
