We are looking for a Salesforce Tech Lead to support our Salesforce team. The Opportunity: The Salesforce Tech Lead will provide hands-on technical leadership. This role will act as the technical authority for Salesforce by setting standards, guiding design decisions, mentoring team members, enforcing code quality, development & deployment practices and ensuring the platform scales reliably while remaining secure. You will report to the Team Leader.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional software development experience for enterprise environment required
  • 7+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, including architecting and delivering custom code on multiple large-scale implementations
  • 2+ years of experience as a software developer in a regulated industry/financial services experience
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, or other science field required
  • Expert-level proficiency in Apex (classes, triggers, async processing), LWC, SOQL/SOSL and data modelling, and Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets)
  • Experience with Service Cloud, omni-channel, or case management at scale
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-level integrations leveraging API’s, Files, Message Queues etc.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and performance optimization
  • Ability to comfortably operate in ambiguous problem spaces with minimal oversight
  • Experience leading technical design reviews and influencing platform direction
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Guide & mentor a team of Salesforce developers, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Provide hands-on development for complex or high-risk components
  • Lead solution and technical design for complex Salesforce initiatives, working closely with Solution and Enterprise Architects to ensure adherence to platform and enterprise best practices
  • Ensure production environment is functioning as expected and manage incidents
  • Conduct regular code & design reviews and host training sessions to ensure continuous development and alignment with our goals
  • Define and enforce development standards, best practices, and coding guidelines
  • Partner closely with the Team Leader on technical strategy and roadmap planning
  • Drive performance optimization, security posture, and platform stability
  • Act as an escalation point for complex production issues and lead root-cause analysis
  • Ensure solution designs and technical decisions are documented and periodically reviewed
  • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features, tools, and best practices, and share this knowledge with the team
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and the use of new technologies to enhance the Salesforce ecosystem
