About The Position

The Better Together team seeks a Salesforce Solutions Architect who will ensure Better Together has the technological foundation needed to scale its impact. This position oversees Salesforce architecture, systems integration, automation development, and the successful implementation of technology projects. This role ensures data accuracy, system reliability, and streamlined digital workflows across the organization. The specialist partners closely with Operations, Program leadership, and external developers to design solutions that reduce manual work, support staff efficiency, strengthen reporting, and enhance the overall user experience. An ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated strengths in systems design, integration, and automation. They should be self-motivated, comfortable working remotely, and capable of identifying gaps while proposing practical, scalable solutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; technical certifications preferred.
  • 2+ Salesforce experience required; certifications such as Advanced Administrator, App Builder preferred.
  • Experience with system integration tools (Zapier, APIs), WordPress, and database management.
  • Experience overseeing or participating in app development projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and create scalable technical solutions.
  • Strengths in communication, organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

  • Able to pass a Level 2 background check.
  • Must reside in FL.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the organization’s Salesforce architect, ensuring scalable data models, automation, security, and workflows.
  • Design and maintain custom objects, fields, flows, validation rules, and integrations that support program operations.
  • Build automated processes that reduce manual workload, improve data integrity, and streamline staff workflows.
  • Conduct regular system audits to maintain quality, security compliance, and system performance.
  • Oversee change management processes, including testing, documentation, and release schedules.
  • Lead system integration efforts across platforms such as Salesforce, Zapier, marketing tools, form platforms, and additional systems.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and integration of new technologies, applications, and digital tools into Salesforce and other organizational platforms.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with the Operations and Technology teams to identify and resolve system gaps.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics that support leadership decision-making and track organizational KPIs.
  • Lead the streamlining, automation, and optimization of digital forms, communication templates, and workflow tools.
  • Identify inefficiencies in digital processes and recommend solutions that enhance data accuracy and program performance.
  • Support organizational reporting needs by ensuring accuracy in documentation and consistency in data collection practices.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to staff on Salesforce, integrations, and internal systems.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, training manuals, user guides, and best-practice documentation.
  • Ensure staff across the organization receive clear system updates, training, and guidance to support consistent and effective use of technology.
  • Maintain organized system documentation in Google Drive, ensuring accessibility and alignment across regions.
